Wanna Go to Taco Bell??

Hey guys! What's up? :) So, if someone asked me, "Wanna go to Taco Bell?" (What up Mean Girls reference), I would probably say yes! I love Taco Bell! I know it isn't the healthiest place in the world and I'm aware of that. But, I love their Bean Burritos and their Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito. When I was little, my parents would bring home Taco Bell sometimes and they would eat Mexican Pizzas and Seven-Layer Burritos. They would also bring Classic Limeades, which they have unfortunately discontinued. They were sooo good! Now, one reason I don't like Taco Bell is because they sometimes add meat even when we tell them not to. For example, a few years ago, my family ordered Taco Bell as takeout, and we asked for a burrito without meat (because we're vegetarian). As you probably guessed, the burrito I ate had meat in it. Also, sometimes they forget items, and we have to go all the way back to fix the order. But besides those two issues, I love Taco Bell! I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars! Thanks for reading! Flashback Friday: My Previous Blogs

Hey guys! What's up? So, before I had Peppy Priya, I had a few other blogs, which never really worked out. One was called Life and Imagination, another was called Priya's Daily Blog, and the third one was called Priya Jain's Reviews. I'm no longer active on these blogs, but today, I thought I would share a post from each blog with you guys!

Ice Hockey from Life and Imagination:
Ice Hockey is a sport played in leagues. There is an NHL (National Hockey League) and an AHL (American Hockey League). My favorite team is San Jose Sharks and the team I don't like is Edmonton Oilers. What team do you like and not like? Comment and tell me. Have you ever been to a ice hockey game before? I have been to a ice hockey game about 3-4 times. Now, I have a challenge for you. Comment and tell me what teams have won the Stanley Cup. Have fun!

2012 Presidential Election from Priya Jain's Reviews:
On November 6, 2012, the 2012 Presidential Election took place. I have to say, it was a really important election. Why? Well, I'll tell you. You see, there were two candidates, Barack Obama, who was President at that time, and Mitt Romney, a former Massachusetts governor. Now, before this election took place, I thought Mitt Romney didn't really care about the United States. And I thought that Barack Obama cared about the United States. He's a great president. So, I sent emails to some of my friends and family members reminding them to vote, and my wishes came true at nighttime on November 6, 2012 when President Obama was reelected President of the United States. So overall, I am happy the way the presidential election results turned out.

My Trip to Sacramento from Priya's Daily Blog:
Hi everybody! So I wasn't able to write much in the past few weeks because I was a bit busy. One of the activities was a trip to Sacramento with my family to see some friends. It was awesome! At their house, we had a small "reunion" as we met some of our old friends from when my brother and I were young. We hadn't seen each other in about 7 years! It was so nice to see them again. My uncle's birthday was on the exact same day so we ended up celebrating his birthday by going out for dinner at BJ's. I liked the food, but the waiter was kinda....I don't know. I didn't like him, though. He made some jokes about me, which I didn't like. Anyway, moving on. When we went back to their house, I watched a few videos and then went to sleep. The next day, we got breakfast from outside that included pancakes, and hot chocolate from Starbucks. Yum yum! LOL. I also played a game called Risk with our friends. I lost, and I wasn't that happy about it. (Whaaat? Priya, you're such a sore loser.) (Me: I know, sorry!) After that, we played a few rounds of Uno and a card game (which I can't remember the name of). A few hours later, we went out for lunch at an Indian place. While we were waiting for the parents to chit-chat, we played with a mini bouncy ball that we lost several times and some of us (including me) had to get out from shrubs. A while later, it was time to go. So we said our goodbyes and promised them that we would come back next for Labor Day. And then we headed back home. It was a wonderful trip and I can't wait to go back.

Current Faves: Scream Queens + Classic Chai Tea Latte!?

Hey guys! What's up? Okay, so I'm going to start this series of posts called Current Faves, where I talk about what I currently love. Two things I currently love are Scream Queens and the Classic Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks. Okay, first Scream Queens. Scream Queens is soooo good! I went to my friend's house recently, and she made me watch the first two episodes of the show. I agreed, because I wanted to watch it and also because Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas were on it, and I love those two singers. So, we started to watch it, and I'm obsessing over it. It is amazing! It's kind of gory, but it's really good! You guys should watch it. Whenever I saw Nick Jonas, I started fangirling. He's pretty cute, I gotta admit. Okay, next is the Classic Chai Tea Latte. So, usually, when I go to Starbucks, I get like.. a lemonade or hot chocolate or something. But recently, I got introduced to the Classic Chai Tea Latte by two of my family members, and it's amazing! My Ideal World

Hey guys! For today's post, I thought I would describe my dream or ideal world. Basically, this is a description of what my world would look like if I could create it. Hope you guys like it! :)

In my ideal world, there would be no smoking allowed. There would be no poverty, and it would be clean with no litter. Also, there would be no wars, and very few natural disasters. There would be extinction of animals, but not due to people killing them. There would be no guns allowed, and no shootings. People of all races would get along. There would be hoverboards and teleporters for every person. Oh, everyone would have a lifetime supply of candy, soda, food, and drinks! Everyone would have a mini Starbucks or Peet's Coffee and Tea!

My Pet Peeves

Hey guys! For today's post, I'm going to be talking about my pet peeves, or things I can't stand. This post is not intended to be rude. I apologize if it comes out that way.

Priya's Pet Peeves
1. I can't stand the sound of chalk on a chalkboard. Oh god, I cringe when I hear that sound.
2. I also don't like the sound of a desk or table screeching when it is being moved.
3. I don't like seeing people smoke. I wish there would be a law around the world to ban smoking. Nothing against the PEOPLE that smoke. But, I wish they knew that it's bad for them and that it affects the people around them as well.
4. I don't like people who think they're cooler than other people. Everyone's awesome and special in their own way.
5. I absolutely can't stand animal cruelty. I wish something would be done for this issue soon.
6. It really annoys me when someone doesn't wash their hands after using the restroom.
7. I don't like when people try to talk to me while I've got headphones on.
8. I don't like when people joke about something serious, such as the Holocaust.
9. I don't like people who think that eating meat means everything and that you're weird if you're vegetarian.
10. I can't stand when people interrupt me while I'm talking and then I forget what I'm going to say.
11. I really don't like people that are hypocrites. It REALLY annoys me.
12. I really don't like it when people forget their manners and forget to say "Please" or "Thank you." I mean, if someone did something for you, the least you can do is say, "Thank you."

The World in the Future

Hey guys! For today's post, I decided to talk about what I think the world would look like in the future. Note: This is just for fun. I am NOT a psychic. :)

In the future, I predict that there are going to be a lot of health advancements, and there will be more and different electronic devices. I also think that there are going to be a lot more wars, and the United States will allow women to become presidents. There are going to be a few more shootings and attacks everywhere. Also, there are going to be a lot more natural disasters which are going to kill many people. :(

My Near-Death Experience

Hey guys! For today's post, I'm going to be talking about something scary I experienced. So, two years ago, I went to a science camp, and we were allowed to go swimming. Now, here's a secret. I'm not the best swimmer in the world. Okay fine, that's not entirely true. The truth is, I can't swim at all. So, a unwise part of me decided to jump into the deep end of the pool. Then, the scary part. I couldn't get out. I kept trying, but then I would land up back in the water. It was scary. I can still see it now and I was so scared! It was crazy! But luckily, my friend saw me and she used one of those swimming noodles to help me up. Afterward, I was shaken up and crying because I thought that I was going to drown, but the lifeguard and a really caring adult comforted me and I felt much better after that. So, yeah. You may not call it a near-death experience. At least, it may not sound like that to you, but it felt like that to me. Sorry if this was kind of short. Stay tuned for more posts! Hey guys! So for today's post, I decided to answer a question that I found online.
Q: If you could do anything and get paid a million dollars a year for it, what would it be?

A: This is a really good question, and I don't have a good answer. Uh, let's see. I think I would be a designer. I want to be a versatile designer, if there is such a thing. So basically, I would work for different people and come up with ideas for computers, tablets, houses, etc. It really depends on who I'm working for. I don't really want to limit myself on what I will design. I like drawing and thinking a lot. So if I combine those two activities, I could probably come up with a lot of cool ideas! My Dream Vacation

Hey guys! Vas' happening? I'm sorry; I just had to say that. Anyways, today I wanted to share my dream vacation with all of you. My dream vacation would probably have to be New York because I love being in the city. I feel like I belong in the city. I would stay in a penthouse and go shopping in Manhattan, with all the famous brands surrounding me such as Gucci, Chanel, and Versace. I would go to a fancy spa and get my nails done and have a relaxing massage. Oh my gosh, that would feel so good. Another one of my dream vacations is to live in a resort in Phuket, Thailand. Imagine sitting on the beach in the sand as you look at the ocean, filled with blue-green water and big rocks. Ah, that would be amazing. Wouldn't it? My Hobbies

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted anything in a while! I have been a bit busy with summer camps and enjoying the Fourth of July weekend! So today, I decided to write about my hobbies. I never really knew what a hobby was. When I was asked that question, I used to respond by saying I collected rocks (I used to when I was young.) and surfed the Internet. Now, my hobbies have changed. In my spare time, I surf the Internet, listen to music, and make YouTube videos. Surfing the web isn't really the most productive thing to do, but I still do it! I love listening to music! Music is literally my life. If music was not invented, then I don't know how my life would be right now. It's so fun to listen to music and to sing. I love singing. I haven't had much vocal instruction besides participating in Chorus at school. I really want to record an album or something. That would be awesome. I love watching and creating YouTube videos. OMG, it is so fun! My favorite YouTubers are iiSuperwomanii, Miranda Sings, PsychoSoprano (Colleen Ballinger Evans), Joey Graceffa, and Vsauce. I have not been able to make YouTube videos lately because I need to focus on my education. Hopefully I will be able to soon. My Dreams and Aspirations

Hey guys, today I want to talk about something a little serious. Well, it isn't serious. But I want to talk about my dreams in life. So, in my last blog post, My Bucket List, I mentioned writing and publishing a book, and I want to discuss what I meant. So, I have been reading The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, and I love the idea of her sharing her thoughts with the world and becoming famous for it. Well, she went through a lot of adversity, and Heaven Forbid I or anyone goes through that. But since then, I've been wanting to share my thoughts with the world. It's like a time caspule. You create it and dig it up. And then years later, someone finds it and gets an insight about my life. As I've said before, I'm a teenager and there's nothing special about me. I'm not famous or anything. But what have I got that others haven't got, you know? And as Ezra Frech said, "You can dream it, hope it, or make it happen. And I hope that they make it happen." I want to make it happen. I've already been working on it, but it's in the first stages. I'm still writing the first few pages. Anyway, tell me what you think about my aspiration. Peace out! :)

I like reading. My family thinks I don't, but I do. I really like reading Bruno Mars or One Direction fan fiction. I know that it isn't actual reading, but I love reading it in my spare time. I also like reading realistic romance stories. Growing up, my favorite books were the Amber Brown series and the Junie B. Jones series. Now, I really like books by Judy Blume and Lauren Myracle. My favorite series is the Hunger Games series! Oh my god, I love the Hunger Games so much. I am a diehard tribute! A tribute is the name of a person who loves the Hunger Games series a lot! My dad thinks it is full of violence, but it really isn't. It is an amazing series about revolution and fighting to change the government. My name is Priya Jain, and I am a student and YouTuber. My hobbies include surfing the Internet, singing, listening to music, making and watching YouTube videos. I am a talkative girl, and consider myself weird and crazy (not in a bad way). My favorite singers are Miguel, Lorde, and Ariana Grande. Oh my god, can we just stop to talk about how amazing Lorde is? You know how some people are goths or emo or whatever? I want there to be a Lorde fashion category and personality and whatever. You know, black lisptick, eyeliner, black clothes, the whole enchilada! It could be called Pure Heroines! Oh, speaking of enchiladas, I love Mexican food and can eat it any day! My inspirations for creating this blog are Zoe Sugg a.k.a Zoella, Rebecca Kelsey Sampson, and Cathy Wang. I looked at their blogs and was inspired to create a blog about me and my life. My celebrity crushes right now are on Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale Hawthorne in the Hunger Games movies, and on Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games series! They are soo cute! :)

Sunkissed Summer Tag

Hey guys, today I'm going to be doing the Sunkissed Summer Tag in honor of school being out! I hope you guys like it!

1) When did you/do you get out of school? I got out of school on June 10.
2) Do you prefer the beach or pool? I prefer the pool because I don't like getting sand all over my feet.
3) Are you going on any summer vacations/what is your dream vacation? I am going to India from July 18 to August 4. My dream vacation is going to Singapore.
4) S'mores/ Ice Cream?  Hmm... this is tough! I love the Smores Tart from Starbucks, and I love Ice Cream. I would have to go with Ice Cream.
5) Most Fun Summer Memory? Oh my gosh, I don't know! I had a really fun time at summer camp at the Tech Museum last year in 2014. My favorite time was in Mobile App Design, and I met some really awesome people who I still remember to this day. I hope they remember me. :) My other favorite summer memory is getting to travel in first class from London to Mumbai. I loved relaxing in the first class lounge and sitting in first class in British Airways. It was so comfortable and luxurious! :)
6) Does your skin tan/ burn? My skin tans, but does not burn, Knock on wood, though! :)
7) How do you wear your hair? (Down, Ponytail, Ombre, Dip Dye etc). Hmm, it depends. Sometimes, I put my hair in a half-up half-down hairstyle. Other times, when I'm doing something important, I like to keep my hair in a ponytail to keep it from getting in my face.
8) Favorite Summer Nail Polish? I don't wear nail polish that often. But If I could, I would wear a sky blue. :)
9) Do you spend your summer outside/inside watching Netflix? It depends. If I have summer camps, then I am out of the house. But if not, then I am at home unless my family is free. I want to spend most of the summer outside because I love my friends and spending time with them.
10) Sunglasses/Hats? I love both sunglasses and hats! But in the summer, I would have to pick sunglasses.
11) Favorite Song of the summer? My favorite song of the summer would have to be Earned It by the Weeknd.
12) Do you have a summer bucket list? I really want to post a lot on Peppy Priya, and I want to watch a lot of movies like Inside Out. I don't know if it counts as a bucket list, but whatever! :)
13) Bikinis, Tankinis or One Piece? One pieces, definitely!
14) Must Have Summer Make Up Product? My must have summer make up product is the Revlon Berry Smoothie lip butter! I love it so much!
15 Favourite thing about the summer? I love spending time with my friends and making posts for you guys!
